What are the disadvantages of the elements that Web 2.0 covers?



The disadvantages of the elements that Web 2.0 covers are that viruses can be found, sometimes loadings can take a long time to process, disagreements are arguments occur, some elements are addictive, and people then tend to be on the computer too much which eventually leads to health problems such as bad sight, if you have no Wi-Fi you will not be able to access any of these elements that Web 2.0 covers, it has limited security. There us Security and Privacy issues with the extent to which users and their information are open to hackers, Online tools are usually more limited than the desktop (and paid) versions of the tools, content quality is low since authenticity and exactness cannot always be trusted or verified. 

The main disadvantages is that some people my post things that aren't true so there is not much reliability on the information posted, people also may start posting copy righted information, If your hard drive crashes and you didn't back up your information, you could lose months for even years of work. This is something that few of us cannot afford, videos, music, movies, and other information can be shared freely, how will the producer or owner of the things be able to make a profit or money.

The benefits of using the elements that Web 2.0 covers is that as being part of big population as a whole you would become more informed of things going on around the world and instead of getting information from once source you can receive information from multiple sources. Information can be pulled from a number of different places in Web 2.0.You can view events from more than one perspective, and this allows you to be a more well informed person about different things. You can communicate on these elements with paying a very low cost or sometimes even for free. The Web 2.0 elements are easily accessible and easy to use; they do not require much IT supports. Some websites need maintenance on their tools, but Web 2.0 elements tools are much simpler to provide and require no maintenance. They have made updates were you can easily find different information.



One of the main advantages of these elements is that information or social content can be pulled or placed at different places and further personalizing it to meet up the requirements of an individual user, people can put across their thoughts without fear of authoritarianism, By targeting or hiring bloggers, you can create and control your business’s image for the positive. Web 2.0 technologies allow each person to have information customized to his or her desires and interests.

Many kinds of people use Web 2.0. People like businessman use Web 2.0 so they can communicate with other business man to see what’s going on, to check the stocks or to launch a business or to see if they could hire anyone to help them in their business. Some parents as well use Web 2.0 to chat to people maybe about their lives or to take opinions on which is the best school they should put their child in or maybe looking for recipes to learn how to make something. People who are looking for jobs use Web 2.0 so that they can communicate with other to people who are maybe willing to offer a job. Student could use it for many different things like sharing what we learn in our classes or looking to talk to another student in a different country to see what they learn in their classes.

 Kids use Web 2.0 for different things like for games or other thing that entertain them, they would also use it so they can educated online from people around the world. Teenagers mostly use them to share pictures about their experiences or to communicate with other teenagers around the world. Fans from different celebrities would use Web 2.0 site like twitter so they can follow them and see what their celebrity is doing. Fashion Designers would use Web 2.0 to see photos of fashion models and to see the comments about a fashion model.

Web 2.0 has developed a lot in today’s society, and that has made users of all ages around the world use the net a lot so that they can connect and interact with people around the world. Web 2.0 sites are also very popular and are constantly being used world wide by not only children, but grownups as well use Web 2.0 for different reasons like to launch a business or to find an employee for a specific job, but the question is how did Web 2.0 get popular around the world?Web 2.0 at first had 250,000 sites with only 45 million global users and now Web 2.0 has 80, 000, 000 sites with 1 billion global users so as you can see they have developed a lot throughout the years. Web 2.0 developed by making there sites more attractive, appealing and simple like having Simple layouts, big fonts and bright titles that make the look and feel of websites good and pleasing. Web 2.0 has also developed by making available the use of AJAX (Asynchronous JavaScript and XML) that makes it possible to create rich-client Internet applications (RIAs). These are good because it makes the user have a better and richer experience.Web 2.0 also developed in today’s society by making its sites easier to use since more people are starting to use their sites. They have made more options available to the user so it is simpler for them to share something or express their thoughts and feeling.

Web 2.0 mainly developed was by involving the users more in their sites creation and development. For example in their sites when people comment or share any information Web 2.0 puts to good use the valuable data generated by users themselves and develop their sites, that way the user feels good about themselves and this is how Web 2.0 attracts more users.

Web 2.o was invented and thought of by a man named Tim O'Reilly and company called Media liveThis term was made to describe web sites that used technology beyond static pages. Web 2.0 is a new version of the World Wide Web. It is mainly created for people who share information on the net or communicate with each other through the net. Web 2.0 is a form of social media; Web 2.0 sites allows people to work together and interact with each other, and like other social media websites are only allowed to got a certain extent of interactive and passive viewing.
